Traditional Cooking and Cultural Heritage Program for Volunteer

Program Description

As a volunteer, you will support traditional cooking activities that use local ingredients and time-honored methods, including cooking with traditional stoves and learning recipes passed down through generations.

This program is more than a cooking experience—it is an opportunity to contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage, engage with local communities, and participate in meaningful cultural exchange. Volunteers will assist with food preparation, documentation of traditional practices, cultural activities, and community events when available.

Fee pays for:

Benefit for travelers, donation to project, and materials for volunteer activities

Explain fee details:

Volunteer contributions for cover meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner), room, free laundry service, free wifi, free cooking class, free coffee and herbal drinks, donations to Arts and cultural Educational Institutions, sustainability project, daily activities with equipment.

Volunteer Requirements:

Interest in culture, food, and community engagement, respect for local customs and traditions, positive attitude and willingness to learn, ability to work collaboratively with local staff and community members.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Once payment has been received, any cancellation initiated by the applicant is non-refundable. Applicants who voluntarily withdraw from or terminate their participation before the program's scheduled end date will not be entitled to any refund of the fees paid.
• The dates you have selected are not reserved until full payment for the selected program has been received. Availability is offered on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis. Prompt payment is recommended to secure your reservation and prevent cancellation if the dates are booked by another applicant.
